For Asia Now 2021, TEMPLON will propose a group show of gallery artists, with a special focus on Indian artists.

TEMPLON is one of the few French galleries who has been exploring the Indian art scene for over 15 years. Two of our artists - Jitish Kallat and Atul Dodiya - were included in the first Venice Biennale national pavillon of India in 2019. Jitish Kallat, Anju Dodiya, Atul Dodiya and Sudarshan Shetty will be present with recent productions - paintings, drawings, sculptures - made over the last two years.

In addition, one of the highlight of the booth will be a new installation by Chiharu Shiota. The Japanese artist well known for her thread installations has now been working with doll house and doll furniture as a metaphor of our lives under lockdown.
