Galerie Nathalie Obadia is pleased to present artists who have in common a "crossed look" on the world between the influences of the East and those of the West in the historical and mythological fields. In the 21st century, these crossbreeding practices allow to highlight that cultures are intertwined and nourished by the different influences due to the artists' transhumance.

Some artists have chosen to travel and work temporarily in countries other than their own, such as Hoda Kashiha (born in 1986 in Tehran, Iran), while others have chosen to settle permanently in Western countries for various reasons, while remaining closely linked to their culture of origin, such as Rina Banerjee (born in 1963 in Calcutta, India), Lu Chao (born in 1963 in Kashmir, India), and Rina Kashiha, India), Lu Chao (born in 1988 in Shenyang, China), Shahpour Pouyan (born in 1979 in Isfahan, Iran), Sarkis (born in 1938 in Istanbul, Turkey) and Wang Keping (born in 1949 in Beijing, China).
