Saule Dyussenbina

Saule Dyussenbina is an Almaty-based artist whose works address a thin line between crafts and fine art. The exhibition presents several of her wallpapers. By studying mythological images of ancient and contemporary Kazakhstan, she creates patterns that question cultural representation in multicultural state of Kazakhstan with its nomadic cultural heritage, in a humorous manner.
