“The Fabric of Time: Three Generations of Kazakh Art” group show brings together three generations of Kazakh artists who work with tex- tiles and felt, materials traditional for the peoples of Central Asia. Weaving for nomads had not only functional value but also a way of perceiving time and space.

Nomadic perception of time centered on seasons and craft practices, reflec- ting harmony with nature. Artists Alipbay Bapanov, Saule Madieva, Aidana Kulakhmetova, and Daria Nurtaza restore the interrupted chronology and cultural continuity, presenting a contemporary language and the authenticity of tradition.
