Minami Kobayashi

Frestonian Gallery is delighted to present new works by Kristina Chan and Minami Kobayashi. Kristina Chan (b. 1991, Vancouver, Canada - lives and works in London) completed an MA Printmaking Royal College of Art, London in 2016. She has exhibited at the Musee du Louvre (5th Annual Exposure Award), Museum für Moderne Kunst Bremen, Mindepartementet Museum of Art and Photography Stockholm, Tate Modern & the Royal Academy (London) and the Lightbox Museum, UK. Chan's work is held in the collections of the V&A Museum & the British Museum (London). Minami Kobayashi (b. 1989 Nagoya, Japan, lives and works in London) holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago (2018). Recent major exhibitions include Frestonian Gallery (London, 2023), Goldfinch Gallery and Baby Blue Gallery (Chicago), and has exhibited in group shows such as Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, Setouchi International Triennale 2019 (Japan). In 2023 Minami was artist-in-residence at Castel Caramel, Castillon, France.
