Alexander Forbes is the VP of Galleries & Fairs at Artsy, the world’s leading marketplace for buying and selling fine art. His team partners with 3500 galleries and art fairs in 100 countries, to offer over 1 million works for sale to collectors globally. Alexander most recently led Artsy’s Private Sales business, working with the platform’s 2.5 million users acquire works from their wishlists and design bespoke sales strategies across Artsy’s secondary market channels. Previously, he led the company’s Corporate Development function, after beginning his career in media, with roles at Louise Blouin Media, artnet News, and Artsy Editorial.
