Art On Istanbul participates the 9th Edition of Asia Now with Damla Sari, Özkan Işık, Ülgen Semerci, Burçak Bingöl and Mert Diner. This selection of young artists focuses on the connection/bond between the artwork and the viewer featuring recent works with different mediums such as textile, photograpy and mixed media. The works in Booth communicate conceptually with each other, albeit in different mediums. Özkan Işık's work titled "Let the inside be beautiful" envisages a rethinking on the commonalities/separations between the past and the present. Burçak Bingöl's work, on the other hand, approaches the concepts of ornamentation and decoration from an analytical perspective through copying, tracing and reconstructing in a labor-intensive way of production.
