Alexis Chrun was born in 1991 and graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris. In 2017, he received the Paris Fine Arts prize at the 62nd Salon de Montrouge for a book project. Since then, he has exhibited in various venues of the French scene and more recently in Shanghai in nomadic venues. He is an active member of in.plano, a studio and exhibition space on the Ile Saint-Denis.

Alexis Chrun questions and deconstructs every medium he uses, sliding from one to another, from sculpture to book, word to pocket, viewer to work. His attention is focused on details and delicate balances. Words, puns, objects are all accidents he hangs on to develop his projects.
