DSLcollection and Founder, The Art of This Century

Karen has previously worked at Sotheby’s London Private Client Group where she was responsible for European and Asian clients. Prior to this, she worked at a number of other leading art institutions and auction houses such as Phillips and Asia Society, and coordinated the successful “Art of the World” project at the Shanghai World Expo in 2010.

In addition, she runs The Art of This Century, a consulting and events agency, providing bespoke experiences and special encounters in the art world. Karen has also actively participated in the building of her family’s private collection, DSLcollection, which is a major western collection focusing on Chinese Contemporary Art.

Margot Mottaz

Associate Curator, PaceX 

Margot Mottaz is an Associate Curator at PaceX in London. She regularly writes about contemporary Asian art for several publications including Artomity, SCMP Style and Hong Kong Tatler, and sits on the International Selectors’ Committee as a first round judge for the Lumen Prize Exhibition.

She has previously held positions at Tate Modern and ASIA NOW Paris Asian Art Fair, and has also worked in the fields of media and advertising in Hong Kong and Switzerland. Margot holds degrees from the University of Edinburgh and The Courtauld Institute of Art.
