Based in Paris, Liyu Yeo works as an independent curator and consultant. Since 2016, Yeo has been a consultant for Xavier Hufkens, Brussels during Art Basel, Hong Kong. Yeo has been invited and participated in talks at le Collège de Bernardins, l’Ecole Normale Supérieure, Sciences Po, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris. In 2015, he was a consultant for the launch of the new Australian pavilion in the Venice Biennale and curated a public art project in the Paris Metro to showcase Chinese contemporary art. Yeo was a consultant for an artistic project between the foundation of the SNCF Forum Vies Mobiles and Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. Prior to locating in Paris, Yeo was gallery manager at the contemporary Chinese art gallery Red Gate in Beijing, China and managed the Eva Breuer gallery in Sydney, specializing in contemporary Australian art.
