On the occasion of ASIA NOW 2019, the Musée national des arts asiatiques – Guimet is organizing a contemporary art exhibition, from October 16 to January 6, 2020. This exhibition presents the museum's recent acquisitions, and highlights the diversity of contemporary Asian art.
L’Asie maintenant invests the permanent collections of the museum, in the main building, place d’Iéna, as well as in the Heidelbach Hotel.
Following the path of its founder Emile Guimet, who, during his trip to Asia, collected contemporary art, the museum opens its doors to contemporary artists. L’Asie maintenant is dedicated to representing all artistic expressions, from painting and photography to ceramics.
Among the artists exhibited at l'Asie maintenant, Yoshimi Futamura, represented by La Patinoire Royale - Galerie Valérie Bach(Brussels), and Min Jung Yeon, represented by Galerie Maria Lund (Paris), will be presented at ASIA NOW 2019, 16-20 October.
Min Jung-Yeon will be exhibited at the musée national des arts asiatiques - Guimet from November 6, 2019, as part of a new carte blanche to a contemporary art, entitled Réconciliation
